Ukraine secretly uses US-made V-BAT drone to locate Russian SA-11 air defense system and then target it with HIMARs missiles

Arab Defense Website November 4, 2024: The website reported Defense One On October 31, 2024, Ukraine secretly received advanced V-BAT drones to enhance its field intelligence and precision strike capabilities.

The V-BAT, developed by US company Shield AI, was deployed to assist Ukrainian forces in locating and targeting the Russian SA-11 BuK-M1 mobile air defense missile system for destruction with the HIMARS MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System).

Brandon Tseng, president and founder of the American company Shield AI, revealed the performance of the drone in its new mission.
