The minister stressed that dealing with the immigration issue requires a balanced approach, which is intensifying efforts. To combat illegal immigration through traditional means, such as strengthening border controls and improving control mechanisms, in addition to providing real job opportunities for young people, which contributes to reducing the drivers of illegal immigration from their roots, and also the importance of regulating immigration in a way that achieves mutual interests, Egypt can contribute effectively to meeting the needs of the European side by providing a skilled and trained workforce, especially in light of the demographic challenges facing Europe, as qualified Egyptian workers are able to compete in the European market, especially in vital sectors such as agriculture and nursing. , construction and transportation, which enhances bilateral cooperation and achieves a common benefit for both parties.
Counsel Mahmoud Fawzi referred to the executive and legislative developments, Which occurred in the human rights file in Egypt, especially in the civil, political, economic and social fields.
