The Minister of Local Development participates in the plenary session of the Senate to discuss a draft law "Disposal of private state property"
The Minister of Local Development, Dr. Manal Awad, pledged to take into account the observations made by the representatives regarding facilitating the procedures in the executive regulations of the law on some rules and procedures for the disposal of private state property, in a way that contributes to facilitating the procedures for legalizing the seizure of possession.

She said, “There will be follow-up regarding the file of the jurisdiction over the lands with the governorates to facilitate procedures, as the governorates cannot alone estimate the value of land prices.” “For the sake of legalization, we rely on the state authorities,” stressing the government’s keenness to issue a law on some procedures for disposing of state property to end the files of legalization of seizure as soon as possible due to its connection with the building violations reconciliation law.
Dr. Manal reassured The Council compensated by confirming that previous legalization requests would be completed in cooperation with the Committee for the Recovery of State Lands and Entitlements during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025-2026, noting the cooperation of the governors, as 22 governorates achieved An achievement rate of 80% has been achieved in this matter, stressing that there is a strong follow-up to the achievement in this matter.
