The Minister of Housing inspects the housing project, road works, utilities, and the sewage treatment plant in New Suez

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, inspected the residential project, road works, water, drainage and irrigation networks in the urgent phase in New Suez City, to follow up. The progress of work and overcoming any obstacles, accompanied by officials of the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, the head of the city authority, and project officials.
During the tour, the Minister listened Housing, to a detailed explanation of the implementation situation 86 buildings with 2,064 residential units with an area of 90 square metres, as well as the implementation site of a 30 km road network, and water, drainage and irrigation networks in the urgent phase of the city, where a 20 km long drinking water and fire network is being implemented and includes 18 valve rooms, an 8 km long irrigation network, and a drainage network. A sanitary facility with a length of 9.8 km.
The Minister of Housing directed that the utility and road works be completed in the urgent phase in the city. New Suez and the investment zone, according to standard specifications, overcoming any obstacles that may face implementation, and starting immediate implementation of the planned projects.
During his tour of the projects, the Minister of Housing expressed his dissatisfaction with the delay in road works at the entrance to the city, and the lack of any equipment. Or site workers, pointing out that the new city of Suez is one of the most important cities, and his visit today aims to follow up on all the work and what is being implemented with officials on the ground.
The Minister also directed Housing, stressing the need to develop an urgent plan to quickly complete the roads and axes leading to the sites of the projects being implemented, and to implement road and utility works in parallel with the projects in the first phase of the city, stressing that it is not satisfied with the level of performance, and directed to take a serious stand with the companies implementing the projects.
< p>During the tour, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny inspected the implementation work of the urgent sewage treatment plant “Compact Plant” With a capacity of 1000 m3/day, the completion rate has reached an advanced stage, and the integrated treatment plant is responsible for receiving the urgent stage drainage in the new city of Suez using triple treatment technology to benefit from the final seeb output in irrigating trees, gardens and green areas in the city.
