The Foreign Minister praises the positive development in bilateral relations between Egypt and Serbia
Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, praised the positive development witnessed in bilateral relations between Egypt and Serbia in all fields, since the historic visit of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Serbia in July 2022, as well as the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to Cairo in July 2024. This must be built upon to benefit from the current momentum witnessed by the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries in all fields and to advance them to broader horizons, stressing the importance of activating the memorandums of understanding that were signed on the sidelines of the Serbian President’s visit to Egypt, and in a way that contributes to advancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields. areas in the next few years.
This came during Dr. Badr Abdel Aty’s meeting today, Saturday, with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the Sir Bani Yas Forum held in the United Arab Emirates.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between the two sides in various sectors, with a focus on the economic, commercial, cultural and educational fields, especially with regard to cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence applications, in light of the upcoming Serbian presidency of the World Forum on Artificial Intelligence. And also in connection with the participation of Egyptian companies in the “International Expo” exhibition.
