Next Saturday, the Ministry of Endowments will hold 35 jurisprudential councils entitled: “Provisions of Mediation and Intercession in Meeting Needs” After the Maghrib prayer, in major mosques in several governorates, as part of the Endowment’s ongoing efforts to promote a moderate, enlightened understanding of Islam.
A number of senior scholars and members of the Egyptian Fatwa House participate in the jurisprudence councils, with the aim of clarifying the legal rulings related to mediation and intercession. In meeting needs.
Fiqh councils are held in the governorates of: Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, Beheira, Assiut, Menoufia, Fayoum, Gharbia, Sharqia, Beni Suef, Kafr El-Sheikh, Qena, Alexandria, and El-Bahr. Al-Ahmar and Minya.
The list of participating mosques includes: “Imam Al-Hussein Mosque, Al-Sayyeda Nafisa Mosque, Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque,” and other famous mosques.
An elite group of lecturers will lecture in the councils. Scientists, including Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Najjar, member of the Islamic Research Academy, Dr. Khaled Abdulaziz Omran, Secretary of Fatwa at Dar Al-Iftaa, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdel Salam Kamel Abu Khazim, Professor of Sharia at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Amr Al-Wardani, Secretary of Fatwa at Dar Al-Ifta, along with a number of imams and preachers accredited by the Ministry of Endowments.
These councils aim to enhance religious awareness and spread the correct understanding of the rulings of religion, with a focus on the role of mediation and intercession in accordance with Islamic law.
