Signing a protocol between the Engineers Syndicate and the Medical Institution to enhance health care services
In the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, the Engineers Syndicate, represented by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badawi, Representative of the Syndicate, and Engineer Mahmoud Arafat – Secretary-General of the Syndicate, signed a cooperation protocol with the therapeutic institution, and was represented by Dr. Muhammad Shaqwir, Chairman of the Institution’s Board of Directors. ; To provide medical services to union members and their families. This is at the General Office of the Ministry of Health and Population, with the participation of unions (Journalists – Lawyers – Representative Professions), in the presence of Mr. Khaled Al-Balshi, Head of the Journalists Syndicate, Dr. Ashraf Zaki – Head of Syndicate Representative professions, Mr. Muhammad Al-Jarhi – member of the Journalists Syndicate Council, Mr. Muhammad Al-Qassar – representative of the Bar Association, and members of the aforementioned union councils.
During the protocol signing ceremony, Dr. Khaled confirmed Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, said that this fruitful cooperation reflects the Egyptian state’s commitment to providing quality health services to all citizens, especially professional groups, which are a basic pillar in building society. He also appreciated the role of professional unions in supporting Its members, stressing that the Ministry seeks to enhance community cooperation to ensure the maximum benefit for citizens.
In this regard, Dr. “Ahmed Al-Badawi” said: The protocol aims to provide medical services to union members and their families, ensuring that they receive excellent quality health care. Revealing that the protocol requires providing Medical care services for members of the union and their families within the hospitals affiliated with the therapeutic institution, which within Cairo Governorate include hospitals (Heliopolis, Mabaret Misr Al-Qadima, Al-Islah Al-Islamic, Mabaret Al-Maadi, and Al-Qopty), and in Alexandria hospitals (Ahmed Maher, Maternity House, and Al-Qopty).
In the same context, engineer “Mahmoud Arafat” said: Improving the services of the health care project comes as a main priority for the union, as We seek to expand fruitful partnerships, including cooperation with state institutions, The signing of this protocol also comes within the framework of our keenness to coordinate with professional unions and cooperate with the Ministry of Health, expressing his appreciation for this cooperation, and his thanks to Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and the officials of the Ministry of Health for their appreciated efforts and their keenness on fruitful cooperation and effective communication with the aim of supporting the health care system of professional unions, which contributes to the advancement With this solidarity project.
It is worth noting that the protocol stipulates the provision of medical care services, including medical examination and treatment within clinics, the provision of emergency services, and the conduct of operations.
