"Media professionals": Yasmine Al-Khatib was arrested and summoned for investigation regarding the Hadir Abdel Razek episode
Dr. Tariq Saada, Head of the Media Syndicate, issued a decision to suspend Yasmine Al-Khatib and summon her for investigation into the incident of hosting the creation of offensive content on YouTube.
The decision of the Head of the Media Syndicate came based on Al-Khatib’s violation of the charter. Media Honor and the Professional Code of Conduct. Presented by Yasmine Al-Khatib.
This was not Al-Khatib’s first precedent, as she had been suspended before that for practicing media activity in violation of the law and not regulating her status with the union.
The head of the Media Syndicate stressed to colleagues the necessity of adhering to the media code of honor and the code of professional conduct, in order to provide a professional and purposeful media message to raise awareness among citizens.
