Benha University Faculty Club celebrates the 51st anniversary of the October Victory tomorrow

As part of Egypt’s celebrations of the anniversary of the October War, tomorrow, Tuesday, the Benha University Faculty Club will organize an educational symposium entitled “A Milestone in the History of Egypt and the World – The October War of 1973,” in celebration of the 51st anniversary of the victories of the glorious October War.

 

Dr. Mustafa Al-Gharib – Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the Faculty of Arts, Benha University, will speak at the symposium, and the meeting will be moderated by Dr. Ahmed Alwani, member of the club’s board of directors and rapporteur of the Cultural Committee.

This was announced by Dr. Yaqut Al-Senussi, head of the Faculty Club at Benha University, adding that the glorious October War was not just a military battle that Egypt fought and achieved its greatest victories in, but rather it was a real test of the Egyptian people’s ability to transform… The dream became a reality, and its effects were not limited to the time period of the war, but rather extended to spread rays of hope throughout Egypt, and instill in the souls of all Egyptians a new spirit characterized by determination, challenge, and the ability to face difficulties and achieve achievements.

Dr. Yaqut Al-Senussi explained that the goal of celebrating the 51st anniversary of the October Victory is to restore the story of the struggle of the people of Egypt throughout its history extending thousands of years, drawing inspiration from the greatness of its past as a light to follow in its path, to achieve for its present the desired goals it seeks and the broad hopes it seeks. Its people look forward to it.

 

The president of the Benha University Faculty Club indicated that the glorious October victory anniversary will remain a holiday for all Egyptians; In tribute to the strength of their will and steadfastness, the competence of their armed forces and their distinguished combat ability, which wrote an immortal national epic in preserving the soil of this nation and protecting its borders. The memory of our righteous martyrs, their heroism and their precious sacrifices will remain immortal in the conscience of Egypt and motivate us to work further and progress to create the future that our great people aspire to.
