The military spokesman for the Egyptian army announced that a helicopter had crashed.
He said in a statement: “As part of the implementation of the training activity for the Air Force, today, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 11:00, a helicopter crashed in the Shaloufa area during training as a result of a technical malfunction, resulting in the martyrdom of two officers.”
He added that the necessary measures are being taken by the competent authorities.
