Al-Azhar Mosque is preparing to launch the second level of the academic program for expatriates in Shafi’i jurisprudence.. today
Today, study activities for the second level, specializing in Shafi’i jurisprudence, will begin today at Al-Azhar Mosque, within the specific scientific program for foreign students, under the generous patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar.
At this level, the book “The Sufficiency of the Good People in Solving the Purpose of Briefing.. by Imam Taqi al-Din al-Husni” is explained. Lectures at this level are: Prof. Dr. Ramadan Al-Sawy, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Lower Egypt, Prof. Dr. Ali Mahdi, Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Islamic and Arab Studies in Cairo and member of the Main Fatwa Committee at Al-Azhar Mosque, and Prof. Dr. Ali Mansour, Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Sharia and Law. In Cairo.
The study aims to enhance students’ abilities to deal with heritage books in various fields, and by studying in the program Shafi’i jurisprudence, students can understand jurisprudential issues in a straight manner and instill them in the souls of the people of the Islamic nation, which provides the opportunity to explore the principles of Shafi’i jurisprudence and its applications in daily life.
Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad stressed The General Supervisor of Scientific Activities of the Al-Azhar Corridor at Al-Azhar Mosque said that the specific scientific program for foreign students will be held in the form of levels for each specialization, with one book at each level explained by an elite group of students. Al-Azhar University professors, and that the duration of study at each level varies depending on the textbook. This step is considered part of Al-Azhar Mosque’s vision of disseminating knowledge and science, and strengthening cultural and academic ties with students coming from different parts of the world. The organizers hope that the program will contribute to enriching the educational and cultural scene. And enhancing understanding between diverse peoples and cultures.
In the same context, Dr. explained. Hani Odeh, Director General of Al-Azhar Mosque, said that this program targets international students by offering them a program that suits their academic requirements from heritage books, each according to his inclinations and desires. Enrollment is restricted to one specialization, so the student chooses one of the five specializations to enroll in the first level. Study takes place three days a week, and at the end of the level an exam is held through which the student obtains a certificate for this level in order to move to the next level.
He pointed out that all details regarding the schedule, books, levels, and number of lectures allocated for the first stage in each specialty will be available on the official page of Al-Azhar Mosque.
