The Minister of Aviation discusses with the Minister of Transport of Madagascar ways to enhance bilateral cooperation

The Minister of Civil Aviation, Dr. Sameh Al-Hafni, said that we provide all necessary support to our brothers in Madagascar by transferring Egyptian expertise and supporting regional cooperation in the fields of training in order to achieve a qualitative breakthrough for this vital facility. Especially the national efforts made that support the comprehensive growth and development of the countries of the African continent.

This came during a meeting between the Minister of Civil Aviation and the Minister of Transport and Meteorology of the Republic of Madagascar, Dr. Mana Mbahuaka Valerie. To discuss ways to support and enhance joint cooperation frameworks in various civil aviation activities.

 

Al-Hafni praised the strong bilateral relations that unite the two countries, especially in light of the remarkable development these relations are witnessing at all levels. During the last period, he directed coordination to hold a bilateral meeting between Madagascar and the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority to discuss the possibility of activating and amending the bilateral agreement signed between the two sides in the field of air transport in a way that contributes to achieving the desired benefit for the benefit of the two brotherly countries. 

 

For his part, the Minister of Transport and Meteorology of the State of Madagascar praised the fruitful meeting with the Minister of Civil Aviation, which comes in light of the common and distinguished relations between the two countries, pointing to Egypt’s effective role in the COMESA gathering. After assuming its presidency from the State of Madagascar.

 

He appreciated the efforts of the Egyptian state, the positive results of which were crystallized in several economic, commercial and industrial aspects to support cooperation relations and to serve the two brotherly countries, especially strengthening the partnership and transferring Egyptian expertise. In the field of air transport, in light of Egypt’s great experience in this field, and its keenness to transfer that experience to its brothers in the countries of the African continent.

 

In the context, the meeting discussed Madagascar’s request. The possibility of activating and amending the bilateral agreement signed between the two sides in the field of air transport, as well as studying the possibility of operating an air line linking Egypt and Madagascar in a way that contributes to developing tourism traffic and increasing the volume of trade exchange; In addition to advancing bilateral relations with our brothers in Madagascar by transferring Egyptian expertise in the fields of maintenance, infrastructure, and developing the airport sector.
