Donald Trump is engulfed in speculation he wears a ‘girdle’ as fired former aide weighs in

A viral theory that Donald Trump is wearing a girdle has resurfaced and escalated in the days leading up to the election on Tuesday, November 6.

The girdle theories started when Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, 60, gave a wide-ranging interview in September and touched on the subject.

When asked by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation interviewer, ‘Does Trump really wear a girdle?’ the former financier, nicknamed The Mooch, replied, ‘On certain days, yes.’

Scaramucci explained that he believes Trump, 78, only wore the men’s shapewear on certain days, and delved further into his appearance.

‘He’s an image oriented guy, he’s a television entertainer,’ Scaramucci said.

‘He hates taking pictures of him from the side because he just looks too fat from the side, he likes to take pictures head one,’ Scaramucci divulged.’

Scaramucci also alleged Trump ‘spends a lot of time on his hair,’ which is ‘sort of a weave thing that he does up there,’ has ‘a certain orange war paint that he wears,’ and that he wears lifts in his shoes.

‘The hyper-masculinity is a tell for how insecure the guy actually is,’ Scaramucci said.

In September, the viral video started making the rounds on TikTok, receiving 95,000 likes, and comments on his aesthetic.

‘You forgot to say that he has his suit coat shoulders cut larger than his shoulders to make him look bigger in the shoulder area,’ one person said.

Many commenters asked what a girdle is, to which people replied that it was Spanx, a waist trainer, or a faja, which is a compression garment.

Men’s shapewear ranges from about $19 to $100 and looks similar to women’s Spanx, promising to enhance, lift, and compress.

A few people in the comments section thought it wasn’t a girdle and instead was something to prevent back pain.

Scaramucci spent 11 days as White House Press Secretary in 2017 and has since turned anti-Trump, constantly speaking out against him throughout this election cycle

However, some questioned the source and how he would know about the former president’s underpinnings.

The clip quickly went viral on X (previously Twitter), with one person tweeting, ‘Trump wears girdles and shoe lifts. Pass it on,’ which received almost 4,000 retweets.
