President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the importance of strengthening efforts to provide adequate housing for all citizens, in a way that contributes to achieving societal stability. In this regard, he directed the intensification of efforts to maximize the benefit from the advanced infrastructure that the state has accomplished over the past years.
This came during President Sisi’s meeting today with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy, stated that President Sisi was briefed – during The meeting – on the executive position of a number of Ministry of Housing projects, including the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” which aims to provide housing units at reasonable prices in several cities, in addition to medium-sized housing and investment projects in a number of governorates.

The meeting also touched on investment development plans for urban areas, especially the northwest coastal areas, with Focusing on the areas south of the International Coastal Road, to raise their investment value and maximize their economic return, as well as improving the cultural aspect of this region, and increasing its contribution to the national economy, as President Sisi stressed – in this regard – the importance of sound governance for managing resources and assets in these and other projects, In accordance with the best standards followed in this regard.
President Sisi directed to continue and expand efforts to engage with the private sector, empower it and support its role, and create mechanisms and incentives through which more investments can be attracted, in a way that supports the Egyptian economy and integrates With other axes, especially industrial, with the aim of achieving comprehensive and sustainable development
