The Endowments will open 44 new mosques next Friday

The Ministry of Endowments continues its efforts to rebuild the houses of God Almighty. By opening 44 new mosques next Friday, January 24, 2025 AD, in various governorates, 22 mosques of which are under the replacement and renewal system, and 22 mosques for maintenance and development. 

The Ministry announced that the total number of mosques opened since the first of July 2024 AD until now has reached 682 mosques, including 469 mosques for replacement and renovation, and 213 mosques for maintenance. In development, it confirmed that the total number of mosques that have been replaced, renovated, maintained and furnished since July 2014 amounted to 12,763 mosques at a total cost estimated at approximately 20 billion and 639 million pounds.

 

The list of mosques scheduled to be opened witnessed geographical diversity. Broadly, its statement is as follows:

In Sohag Governorate, the works included the replacement and renovation of the Al-Nour Al-Bareh Mosque, Al-Khazandariya village – Tahta Center; And Al-Rida Mosque, Arab Al-Atiyat Al-Bahriyya village – Dar es Salaam Centre; And maintenance of: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque, Nag Taye village – Maragha Center; And Mosque: Sheikh Abu Hamdan, Al-Halafi village – Al-Balina Center; And the mosque: Ibrahim Al-Wali – Maragha Center; And: Al Omeish Mosque, Al-Mahamda Al-Bahriyya village – Sohag Center; And Mosque: Sheikh Salman, Al-Nazla Village – Maragha Center.

 

In Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, the works included replacing and renovating the Daoud Al-Faqi Mosque, Qaryat Al-Fuqaha – Sidi Salem Center; And Mosque: Khader Al-Jeddawi, Eastern Tiger Village – Sidi Salem Center; And: Al-Rahma Al-Abbasiya Mosque – Riyadh Center; Maintenance of Al-Jazzar Al-Sharqi Mosque, Ezbet Al-Jazzar – Bella Center.

 

In Minya Governorate, the works included the replacement and renovation of the Al-Farouq Mosque, Sham Al-Qibliya Village – Maghagha Center; And: Al-Taqwa Mosque, Ezbet Muqaddam – Maghagha Center; And: Al-Rahman Al-Bahri Mosque, Deir Samalut village – Samalout Center; And Mosque: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Manqatin village – Samalout Center; And Mosque: Salim Saeb, Ezbet Salim Saeb – Minya Center; And Mosque: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Abu Issawi village – Abu Qurqas Centre; And Mosque: Mubarak, Al-Awam Village – Minya Center; And Mosque: Al-Tawhid, Ezbet Al-Zora, Saft Al-Khimar village – Minya Center.

 

In the Red Sea Governorate, the works included the construction of a mosque: Al-Sada Al-Daqqaq Al-Adarsi, North Al-Ahya area – Hurghada city; And Mosque: Othman bin Affan, Mubarak area – Al Quseir city; And Mosque: Al-Huda, K5, Al-Huda District – The city of Safaga.

 

In Gharbia Governorate, a mosque was replaced and renovated: Nour al-Islam, Salihjar village – Basyoun Center.

 

In Fayoum Governorate, the works included the replacement and renovation of the mosque: Al-Mahrazi, Ezbet Al-Jallad, Al-Mazazli Village – Tamiya Center; And maintenance of the mosque: Sweiha, Fanous village – Tamiya Center; And Mosque: Al-Nour Al-Muhammadi, Mandara village – Fayoum Center.

 

In Beheira Governorate, the works included replacing and renovating the mosque: Saad Attia Abu Bakr in Al-Mahar, Kom Al-Faraj village – Abu Al Matamir Center; And maintenance of Nasrallah Mosque, Shubra Al-Nuna village – Itay Gunpowder Center; And the mosque: Al-Ikhlas, the land of victory – Bandar Damanhour; And the Western Mosque, Tarabamba village – Damanhour Center.

 

In Qalyubia Governorate, the Nour al-Islam Mosque, Niqbas Village, was replaced and renovated. Banha Center.

 

In Beni Suef Governorate, a mosque was established: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Al-Tal Al-Asfar village, Bayad Al-Arab, east of the Nile – Bandar Beni Suef.

 

In Giza Governorate, a mosque was established: Al-Asim, Northern Expansions – October.

 

In Damietta Governorate, the Al-Shaheed Mosque in the South region was maintained – New Damietta.

 

In Alexandria Governorate, the works included maintenance of the mosque: Sidi Amer Al-Fawal, next to Misr Station Mall; And Mosque: Al-Asman, Wadi Al-Qamar – Ajami; And Mosque: Juma Noji, Kilometer 27 Qebli – Al-Ajami.

 

In Matrouh Governorate, the Grand Mosque was maintained – Ras Al-Hikma.

 

In Aswan Governorate, the works included the maintenance of the Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque, the village of Al-Busayliyya, before me – Edfu Center; And the mosque: Al-Bayt, Al-Bayyadh village, Al-Busayliyah, Qibli – Edfu Center; And the mosque: Al-Rawda, Hajer Al-Muwaisat, Al-Busailiyah village, Qibli – Edfu Center; And Mosque: Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawi, Al-Hakroub – Aswan Center; And a mosque: Peace – Za’arat Barrier – Al-Busayliyah Al-Wusta Village – Edfu Center.

 

In Sharkia Governorate, the Al-Huda Mosque, Bani Quraish village, was maintained. Minya Al-Qamh Center.

 

These efforts confirm the Ministry of Endowments’ commitment to developing and modernizing the Houses of God Almighty to provide a suitable faith environment for worshipers in various parts of the Republic within the framework of the Ministry’s interest in rebuilding the Houses of God. -Glory be to Him- materially, spiritually and intellectually.
