50 imams from "Qalyubia Endowments" Visiting the pavilion of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs at the book fair
The wing of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs received, today, Sunday, a delegation of imams that included 50 imams from the Qalyubia Endowments Directorate, accompanied by His Eminence Sheikh Ali Zahran, Director of the Shubra Al-Kheima East Endowments Department, as part of the Council’s activities at the Cairo International Book Fair in its fifty-sixth session.
They were received by Sheikh Nour Qenawi, Head of the Central Administration for Foreign Relations. At the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs; Dr. Hassan Khalil, Director General of Collection and Verification of Manuscripts and Heritage Books at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs
During the visit, the imams were briefed on the valuable publications provided by the Council, which included scientific encyclopedias and translations of the meanings of the Qur’an. Holy Quran and heritage books that contribute to strengthening the preaching message of the imams. They also praised the distinguished level of intellectual and scientific content that the Council presents in its pavilion.
In talking about the visit, the imams expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in supporting the imams, and stressed These publications represent a great addition to their advocacy tools, as they contribute to developing religious discourse and providing knowledge to the new generation.
He also added Sheikh Muhammad Al-Kallaf: "The books and encyclopedias that we reviewed contribute to deepening the correct understanding of Islam and help us spread the moderate values that society needs."
He concluded Dr. Taha Mahdi, Inspector of Da’wah at the Shubra El Kheima Endowments East Department, said: “The Supreme Council’s pavilion presents rich publications that confirm the great role that the Council plays in spreading knowledge and developing religious thought, and we thank the Council for these distinguished initiatives.”
The visit concluded with the imams appreciating the efforts of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Ministry of Endowments in providing publications that enrich their knowledge and contribute to developing their preaching career, stressing These efforts represent a qualitative addition to spreading moderate Islamic thought and promoting the values of coexistence in society.
